Tie-in knots or rope up knots are used to tie into the end or somewhere into the middle of a rope.
There's no doubt. The best tie-in knot is definitely a knot called Bowline on a Bight. It's not only the safest knot, there's no other knot you can easier untie. Even with an old, soft and fuzzy rope and after a hugh fall it should be possible to untie it without big effort.
The only disadvantage is, that the Bowline
on a Bight is
a little bit more complicated to learn and it takes more time to tie in.
